Dr. Kim graduated from Seoul National University, College of Veterinary Medicine, in South Korea. He also earned a M.S degree from the same school in Veterinary Anatomy and histology.

He finished E.C.F.V.G (Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates) program at Tuft University - School of Veterinary, North Grafton, MA and he completed a one-year internship at All-Care Animal Referral Center, and then spent several years as an emergency and ICU clinician in Southern California.

He has joined Surgical Group for Animals for advanced training as a resident in surgery. Prior to joining the SGFA team, he had been working as a facilitating veterinarian at Western University of Heath Science, College of Veterinary Medicine for two years. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing baseball. He is also taking private pilot training.
